Mr. Dan Emmett Ivey, age 41 of Cumming, passed away Friday, November 20, 2009. Danny was a member of Settendown Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Dan Ivey, step-father Carroll Barrett, grandmother Dean Hamby, grandfather Emmett Ivey and father-in-law Ed Walls. Survivors include his wife Lisa Ivey of Cumming; son Daniel Ivey of Cumming, mother Ernestine Barrett of Cumming, brother and sister-in-law Robbie and Buffy Barrett of Cumming, grandmother Lillian Ivey of Cumming, mother-in-law Opal Walls of Cumming, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Shane and Sandy Walls of Cumming, nieces Taylor Barrett, Sydney Gilleland and Courtney Walls. Special friend Liz LaRoy and a number of other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 22nd at 4:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Estes, Rev. Harold Bottoms and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
