Dewey (Butch) E. Large, Jr., has joined his family waiting for him. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jessica Large; his grandmother Willie Swimm; and several relatives and friends. He took his last breath March 20, 2008 at approximately 5:45 am. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 32 years Jackie; his son Steven; grandchildren; mother and father Jettie and Dewey Large; sister Patricia Owens; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He leaves behind hundreds of friends who have blessed their lives. He was born August 6, 1949 in Princeton, WV. He worked the last 18 years as a data systems administrator for Meadwestvaco and Scientific Atlanta. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Cumming, Georgia. He was actively involved in the music and drama ministries and served the Lord all his life. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 3:00 pm at First Christian Church with Pastor Mark Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Christian Church music ministry. Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
