Mrs. Edith Estalee Slaton, age 84 a native and life long resident of Forsyth County, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Slaton was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon "Zeke" Slaton. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Rubynell Slaton of Dawsonville and Jerry and Dorina Slaton of Cumming, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Anna Bottoms of Marietta and Dean and Joan Bottoms of Marietta; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Coffey and Rev. Joe Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia will be in charge of arrangements.
