Mr. Gary York, age 61 of Cumming, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008 following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Janet York. Survivors include his children Brian and Stacey York of Cumming, Victor Joseph York of Cumming and Elizabeth York of New York; Grandson Jakob York of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law Marvin and Gale York of Dawsonville, Melvin and Heather York of Australia, David and Debi York of TN, Bill and Diane York of TN, Wilma York of TN and Yoshiko York of IL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Memorial services will be held Monday, May 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Gale York, eulogist. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Forsyth County Animal Shelter or a Charity of your choice. Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, Cumming, Georgia, is in charge of the arrangements.
