Mrs. Inez Holbrook Allen, age 90 a native and life long resident of Forsyth County, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.J. Allen. Mrs. Allen was a member of the Cumming First United Methodist Church. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, George and Lynda Allen of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Hugh Pirkle of Cumming; 3 grandchildren, Gregory & Kim Allen, Geoffrey and Lori Allen, and Laurie and Jason Vandergrift all of Cumming; 8 great grandchildren, Chase, Knox, Ansley, Morganne, Rylie, Hayden, Elizabeth and Joseph; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Leon and Jeanette Allen of Buford, Sarah Smith of Dawsonville and Evelyn Allen of Roswell; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Ron Preuss officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, April 4, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia will be in charge of arrangements
