Mr. Jack Thomas Thompson, age 70 of Cumming, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran serving in the Korean War. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Vaughan Thompson.  Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Marcia and Ken Duke of Fort Mill, SC, Wanda Tinsley of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Jack and Debbie Thompson of Cumming ; 2 brothers  and sisters-in-law, Joel and Diane Thompson of Jackson, Bob and Myrtice Thompson of Carrollton; 1 sister, Betty Matarazzo of Everett, MA; grandchildren Jeffery Thompson, Felecia Rainwater, Mekesha Dale, Jennifer Earls, Josh Thompson, Camille Pike, Justin Duke; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, at 4:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ello Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, Cumming, Georgia, is in charge of the arrangements.
