Mr. James Roy Garner, age 91 a native and life long resident of Forsyth County, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008. Mr. Garner was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church. He also served Forsyth County as a School Bus Driver for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kate Whitt Garner.
Survivors include: daughter, Brenda Garner of Cumming; brother, Bonnie Garner; sister, Bunnie Dishroom, both of Cumming; sister-in-law, Frances Whitt McCormick of Cumming; step-brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. Broughton Loggins and Mrs. Pauline Loggins all of Cumming; a number of nieces and nephews, and a special care giver, Margaret Roberts of Dahlonega, GA.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Collins and Rev. Ronnie Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 19, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia will be in charge of arrangements.
