Mr. John Wilmer Dozier, Jr., age 85, of Cumming passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Mr. Dozier was born December 19, 1922 in Monticello, GA to the late John Wilmer and Bessie Compton Dozier and was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in World War II and Korea. He was the Business Manager and owner of Air Products, Inc., a member of Glenwood Hills Baptist Church and Lakewood Masonic Lodge #443. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Henderson Dozier of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Steve Blalock of Claxton, GA; sons, Thomas Olin Dozier and David Dozier, both of Cumming; sisters, Rebecca Holbrook of Lilburn and Edythe Smith of Cumming; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bethea Fielding officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs with Military Honors. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union Hill Baptist Church, McGinnis Ferry Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004 or the Georgia Sheriffs' Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 100, Hahira, GA 31632.
