Mrs. Julia Catherine Reid, born August 12, 1916 in Roxborough, Philadelphia. died in her sleep March 5, 2008. She lost her husband, Joe, in 1974. In 1979, she left her home in Ridley Park and moved to Georgia. During the next 20 years, Juel moved up and down the eastern seaboard, changing her address 13 times. For the last four years, she has been living in an Assisted Living facility in Cumming, Georgia. It is the intention of the family that the cremains of both Julia and her husband Joe - a WWII Veteran - be interred at the National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. She is survived by sons, Jack Martin and his wife Marie, and Joseph and his wife Edi, along with brothers, Frank Martin and his wife Jane and Billy Martin and his wife Joan in addition to an extensive family. Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
