Mrs. Lydia Bennett Walls, age 85 of Cumming, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009. Mrs. Walls was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Walls; parents, Arley and Vie Bennett; brother, Doyle Bennett and sisters, Audrey Fields and Inez Fields. Survivors include her children, Carroll and Judy Walls of Dawsonville, Martha and Lanier Fauscett of Gainesville and Gary and Sue Walls of Lawrenceville; brother, Marvin Bennett of Dawsonville; sisters, Ruby Walls of Bethlehem and Mattie Day of Cumming; grandchildren Melissa Moore, Joey Walls, Kimberly Freeman, Casey Fauscett, Dustin Fauscett, Jenna Bryant and Whitney Fauscett; 7 great grandchildren; special niece Ida Walls; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30th at 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Bennett, Rev. John Lummus and Rev. Garry English officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
