Mr. Paul C. Schnackel, age 84 of Dahlonega, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Mr. Schnackel was of the Methodist faith. He was retired from Southern Bell and was a Telphone Pioneer. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife Margie Schnackel of Dahlonega; step children Patty Prichard of Dahlonega and Ron Cobb of Lawrenceville; sister Betty McMichael of Gatlinburg, TN; 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
