Mr. William H. Mills, age 82 of Cumming, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where he had served as treasurer of his Sunday school class for several years. He was the owner of Mills Fuel Service for 44 years. He was a mason of the Matt Lodge # 694 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his grandson Chase Wallis and sister Effie Mills Grogan. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Jeane Mills of Cumming; children Robin and Dennis Wallis of Cumming, Bill and Kay Mills of Cumming and Kim and Lisa Mills of Dawsonville; 8 grandchildren Cole Wallis, Andrew Mills, Jed Mills, Megan Mills, Courtney Mills, Josh Vaughters, Zach Vaughters and Jordan Vaughters; great grandchild Honestee Wallis; sister Ruth Mills Heard of Cumming; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Shirley Martin of Cumming; and several other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 5, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Bennett, Rev. Dennis Bottoms and Rev. Gary English officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. Remains will be placed in state at 2:30 pm at the Church. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, Cumming, Georgia, is in charge of the arrangements.
